In 2018, we successfully organized the Inspirational Speech and Leadership Conference which was held twice in each month from January to June. The conference brought over hundreds of participants together, mostly Liberian youth including men and women who received leadership training to seek ways to find improved solutions to the most critical problems in their communities.

 

We also invited inspirational speakers from religious and cultural institutions, including school teachers, youth leaders, and senior representatives from non-governmental organizations and the government of Liberia to share their forefront experience in leadership. 

 

They all spoke about the importance of leadership and inspired participants to become leaders in their communities to address issues of common concern in Liberia. Meanwhile, the six-month conference was held at the U.S. Embassy compound in Monrovia and impacted more than 600 people.
