Fata B. Akoi is a Volunteer and Event Coordinator of Better Understanding for a Better Liberia (BUBL). She also a volunteer member of Life Runner, a Liberian organization operating in Liberia.

She has vast experience in volunteerism, and once served as a volunteer and social mobilizer for the Liberia Crusaders for Peace (LCP), a non-governmental organization (NGO) that promotes behavior change and participatory communications through community dialogue, theatre, music, and dance. 

 

She also volunteered with the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF) as an Ebola prevention educator during the Ebola outbreak in Liberia, and a peer educator on sanitation with the organization Population Service International (PSI). Fata is currently a student at the University of Liberia with a major in Agronomy.
