IMPACT REPORT I August 2017
Dialogue for Interfaith-Intercultural
Peace and Harmony
In August of 2017, BUBL organized a one-week Dialogue for Interfaith-Intercultural Peace and Harmony in Voinjama City, Lofa County. The dialogue helped create an environment for collective understanding between religious and cultural groups in the city.
We also used the city's local radio station to spread public awareness of the interfaith-intercultural dialogue we were having and organized soccer peace games to promote peace and harmony in the city. There were more than 50 people who came out to participate. The dialogue was the first volunteer initiative we organized which gave birth to the present work we're doing in communities across Liberia.
